Your first game starts a free week
The first time you actually start recording a game, ClipPin unlocks everything for 7 days — a full free trial, not a limited version. That means unlimited clip saves and the vertical editor, the lot.
Seven days is deliberate: it covers a tournament weekend with room either side, so you can see what ClipPin is worth on a real event rather than on a single game.
Two things worth knowing:
- The week starts when you film, not when you install. Build all of next weekend's games tonight and the clock doesn't move until you tap Start Game on the first one.
- It follows your ClipPin account, not your phone. Reinstalling, or picking up your iPad, continues the same week rather than starting a new one.
After the week ends
Filming, marking, scoring, recording quality (yes, including 4K60) and family follow all stay free, exactly as before. Saving clips is the part that needs a pass.

- Annual — $59.99 a year (only $5/month). The best value if you film across seasons; renews yearly
- Season — $19.99 for 4 months. One payment. It does not renew and there is nothing to cancel; it simply ends
The passes screen always shows current pricing. Family Sharing works on the monthly and annual passes, so one purchase covers your household — the season pass is a one-time purchase and can't be shared.
