You never need an account to film, mark plays, keep score, or save clips. An account adds three things:
- Your games and clips on all your devices
- Follow links so family can watch along
- Button sets saved for reuse in future games
Sign up
From the welcome screen, or Settings → Sign In:
- Sign in with Apple is the fastest — no password to create or remember, and you can hide your email address if you like.
- Continue with email takes an email and password. Tap Need an account? Sign up, then Create Account.
Confirm your email
If you signed up with email, we send you a confirmation message. You'll see: "Account created. Check your email to confirm, then sign in."
Open that email on your iPhone or iPad and tap the link. ClipPin opens with you already signed in — nothing else to do.
Until you confirm, you can't sign in, so don't skip it.
The email didn't arrive
- Check your junk or spam folder.
- Give it a couple of minutes.
- Check the address you typed for a typo. If it's wrong, sign up again with the right one.
- Still nothing? Email us at hello@getclippin.com and we'll sort it out.
Signing out later
Settings → Sign Out. Your games and clips stay on the device — syncing just pauses until you sign back in.
