- On the sign-in screen, tap Continue with email, then Forgot Password?
- Type your email address and send it.
- Open the email we send you and tap the link. It opens a page on getclippin.com where you set a new password.
- Come back to ClipPin and sign in with the new one.
Setting the password happens on the web rather than in the app — that's normal, and it's the last step you'll need a browser for.
Signed in with Apple?
Then you don't have a ClipPin password at all — Apple handles it. If you're stuck getting in, it's your Apple Account you'd reset, in your iPhone's Settings.
The email didn't arrive
- Check your junk or spam folder.
- Make sure you typed the address you actually signed up with. For your security, ClipPin shows the same "check your email" message whether or not an account exists — so a typo looks exactly like success.
- Signed up with Apple? See above; there's no reset email to wait for.
"Incorrect password, try again."
That message means the email and password don't match. Try again carefully, then reset if it keeps failing.
Meanwhile
Being locked out doesn't stop you filming. Your games are on your device and the app works fully signed out — film today's game and sort the password out afterward. Nothing recorded while signed out is lost; it syncs once you're back in.
