Your phone is the camera. You film the game and mark plays on one screen.
- Open the game and tap Start Game.
- The camera opens straight away, with your marker buttons along the edge and the score at the top.
- Frame the shot, then tap START Q1 when play begins. That starts the recording.
Which way should I hold it?
Both work — pick based on where your clips will end up.
- Sideways (landscape): widescreen clips, like TV. Best for seeing the whole field.
- Upright (portrait): tall clips, the shape used in texts, Instagram, and TikTok.
You can rotate mid-game. Hold the new position for a couple of seconds and ClipPin follows — each clip comes out the way you were holding the phone when you marked it.
Video quality
ClipPin records at 1080p, which looks great and saves space. If you want the sharpest possible clips — especially if you zoom in while editing — switch to 4K in Settings. 4K uses about three times the storage.
Good to know
- The screen stays awake the whole game — no need to keep tapping it.
- Before recording starts, ClipPin warns you if your battery or storage is low.
- The full-game video stays on your phone. Only the clips you save go to your Photos.
