Your sport comes with a sensible set of buttons. Make them yours.
Edit a game's buttons
Open a game before you film and tap its buttons section. From there:
- Tap a button to edit it — change the label, pick a color, and use Move Earlier or Move Later to change where it sits in the grid.
- Add a button. You can have up to 8 — a limit worth having, since buttons you can't find in a hurry don't get tapped.
- Remove one. If no plays have used it yet you'll see Delete Button; if plays already use it, you'll see Hide Button (keep type) instead, which takes it off the grid without disturbing marks you've already made. At least one button must stay.
Fine-tuning what a clip includes
Each button has its own timing, under Timing:
- Pre-roll — how much before your tap the clip includes. Raise it for plays with a build-up.
- Post-roll — how much after.
- Reaction lag — how long it takes you to react. If your clips feel slightly late, nudge this up.
When you can't edit
You can change buttons before a game and between periods, and after the game ends. While a period is actually recording, buttons lock — you can't rearrange what you're tapping mid-play.
Reuse a set
In New Game, tap Save as Template… to keep a button set for future games (this asks you to sign in). Manage saved sets in Settings → Manage Templates. A series can have a default template so every game in that tournament starts the same.
