My Games Aren't Showing Up on My Other Device

Games missing on your iPad? Work through these four checks.

Work down this list — it's almost always the first one.

1. Is it the same account on both?

Both devices need the same account. The catch: Sign in with Apple on a different Apple ID makes a different ClipPin account, even though it's you both times. Check Settings on each device and compare the email shown.

2. Are the games actually synced?

On the home screen, look for Not synced or Sync failed — tap to retry near a game. Tap it to try again. Games only sync while you're signed in and online, so a game filmed on airplane mode at a field uploads once you're back on Wi-Fi.

3. Give it a moment, then reopen

Syncing runs when the app opens and comes back to the foreground. Close ClipPin fully and reopen it on the device that's missing games.

4. Are you still signed in?

Sessions occasionally lapse. A banner reading "Signed out. Sign back in to resume syncing" means exactly that — sign back in and syncing picks up where it left off.

What will never appear

The full-game video. It stays on the device that filmed it — it's far too big to copy around. The game, its score, its marked plays, and your saved clips all travel; the raw film doesn't. That's expected, not a fault.

One quirk worth knowing

If you cleared a score on the web and the phone still shows the old one, clear it on the phone. Scores travel phone-to-web more reliably than the reverse.
